It's quite easy to classify a person into mature and immature category. Qualities that you are growing towards maturity includes-
When your career and your family becomes your priority
You take strong decisions for your parent's sake leaving all marvellous distractions aside
You don't cry aloud to the world for your problems. Instead you are thankful to God because you always have an idea that there are people who are living more miserable life than you.
You choose ears smartly!
You don't feel the need to share your problems with the world.
Even if you do, you choose smart people who don't give you sympathy but provide you wise advice to cope up with your sufferings.
When you start seeing from other's perceptive and realise that they aren't wrong in themselves too.
You live your present with a thought of future fixed in your mind
If you think your future is not possible with someone, you let him/her go despite similar attraction
You let go every habit from your life which can affect your future
You don't give false hopes to anyone. Instead you are brutally honest with yourself and others
You are not reactive towards ephemeral feelings
You become responsive instead of being reactive. You are calm. You learn how to control your emotions, take some time to think over it, swallow your anger and then respond to the situation.
You don't try to prove yourself if someone misunderstands you. Instead you leave everything to time because you value trust more than they do
You hurt people in one go to not hurt them regularly in near future (because you care for them) without caring the fact that you are growing loads of hatred in their heart for yourself
You throw unwanted people from your life who keep affecting your inner peace and happiness.
You become more and more tolerant
You evolve yourself according to surrounding because you know, if you can't change the world, just change yourself
According to me, there is a thin line between maturity and immaturity. Your EXPERIENCES itself turn your immaturity into maturity with time.
